ALETHIOMETER***…………….

HOW HUMANS IN THIS UNIVERSE MAY HAVE THEIR OWN

Recently we had the pleasure of seeing The Golden Compass, a new Fantasy-adventure movie that opened on December 7^{th, 2007, and stars Dakota Blue Richards, Daniel Craig, Eva Green, Nicole Kidman, and several other great actors.}

The name of the movie, The Golden Compass, is also the name given to the strange compass-like Truth-Telling Machine known as an

Alethiometer (Uh-Lee-Thie-Om-Metur)…… without the use of which the movie could not be ! Each and All of these mysterious and mystical Alethiometers have been destroyed by the Magesterium………all……but one. And this One single compass was given to Lyra Bellaqua, the young ward of the Masters and Professors at an ancient University in a world much like the Earth…… and existing in a Parallel Universe.

The Alethiometer, which is a Great Golden Medallion of about 4 inches wide by 2 inches thick and which looks like the Grandfather of all Compasses is in reality a Truth-Telling Machine. Such a machine is invaluable to young Lyra who is caught up in adventure after adventure and challenge after challenge to find her friends and to unravel the evil doings of the Magesterium (Plus she rights a few wrongs along the way!).

Yes, Dowsing.

Dowsing

And what exactly does it mean to dowse? Dowsing is a very ancient art, skill, and science. It simply means "doing something to be able to talk to the Subconscious Mind….which is the same as the Body…….which is the same as your Inner Child" (to be defined later). Though there is still a great deal of discussion about the location in the Body of the Subconscious Mind, many Masters of Inner Life agree

That the "reptile brain", the Medula Oblonganta at the top of your spinal column, is one location of the Subconscious. The other location may be in the area of the Solar Plexus (the Belly; Third Chakra). More recently, many Masters have come to agree that in reality the subconscious IS the BODY!.....and probably even has parts that exist outside of but near the body! This information coincides with very very ancient knowledge in very ancient texts and in ancient cultures such as the Kahuna Knowledge of the Pacific Islands.

Muscle Testing

There are a number of ways to "talk" to the Body/Subconscious. One way, without any outside tools, is called "muscle testing". Many Naturopathic Doctors and Chiropractors and others use this technique to get answers about the Health of the Body….from the Body/Subconscious. In this technique the doctor asks you to hold your arm out straight to the side, level with your shoulder. Then the Doctor may hold some medicine or maybe a pack of cigarettes to your stomach. He’ll ask you to resist and then will try to push your arm down. If what is held to your belly is negative or bad for you then your system will weaken and your arm will be easily pushed down. If it is an herb or medicine that’s good for you, you will be strengthened and it will be very hard to move your arm. You may also ask other life questions in this way. Muscle Testing usually takes two people. There is a version where you interlock right and left thumbs and forefingers. If they hold it’s yes, if they release it’s no.

Dowsing "Tools"

There are a number of instruments that you may use all by yourself, anytime. These we call "indicators". They indicate on the outside, where we may see it, what is going on on the inside….in our Subconscious Mind/Body/Inner Child. One example of an "indicator" would be the gasoline gauge on the dashboard of your car. It doesn’t have anything at all to do with the running of the car. All it does is show you what’s happening inside the car, inside the gasoline tank.

So there are several of these tools/indicators used for speaking to Subconscious Mind. One of them is called a "Bobber" . You hold a metal tube in your hand and sticking out is a coiled piece of wire with a weight on the end which "bobs" around. The direction it takes tells you the answer from within.

The second popular tool is called an "L-Rod". L-Rods come in pairs, one for each hand. You hold the short part of the L in your hand and the long part sticks out in front of you. How the rods come together or separate tells you the answers to your questions. They will also move when you are above underground water or……walking across the Earth’s energy grid or ley lines, …….and so on.

There are several other similar tools…..yet my favorite is the "Dowsing Pendulum". A Pendulum is simply any hanging weight. You may use a ring on a chain, a needle on a thread (to find out the sex of an unborn babe), a stone on a chain, or a metal washer on a string.
