Exotic Quartzes? What For?

Whether you have an interest in crystals and minerals for Healing, Meditation, Energy Work, for Temporal or Space Travel or just for Collecting, you have probably come across Exotic Quartzes.
To many people, "a rock is a rock is a rock;" in other words, "there's no difference between one rock and another." ..."and even if there were a difference, there's certainly no sense in having many different types of the same mineral, take quartz for example!" Or, so goes the thinking of some people.
My beliefs are 180° opposite to this.
First, on the most elementary level, I love to simply look at and feel the energy of my mineral friends. And I love different shapes, colors, textures and sizes from different parts of the world.
Second, since crystallized minerals work directly with the subconscious, not merely reminding us, but actually presenting us with an experience of Sacred Geometries... of the shapes, forms and combinations upon which the entire Lower Creation is based... their value is priceless even if we don't use them in any way but only share space with these magnificent examples of God's Creation! These shapes -- the cube, tetrahedron, octahedron, icosahedron, dodecahedron and sphere -- are the basic building blocks of our matter-universe.
Third, if you use stones practically, that is work with them in Laying-on-of Stones, in creating energy vortexes and sacred mandalas, or use them in meditation or "travel," in communication or as "living computers," in psychic surgery, or in cleansing, rejuvenation, in exorcism or just to make your car work better -- then you'll probably share my attitude. And that attitude is one of using a "crystal toolbox" with different stone sizes, colors, shapes and types of energies to perform a variety of functions -- just as you'd want a hammer, a screwdriver, pliers, and a wrench in your toolbox. Having 8 screwdrivers and no hammer probably wouldn't work! With crystals, as with more mundane tools, form defines function! Thus a Brazilian laser wand (= psychic surgery) is used differently from a short, chunky Arkansas Quartz (= communication or library crystal) is different from a large Tibetan Tabby Quartz (= grounding High Spiritual States & concepts through the Heart) is different from a Columbian Singing Cluster (= Cleansing, Rejuvenation, Space protection) and so on.
Finally there's the question of Exotic Quartzes from exotic and far-away locations. Why bother? Indeed, the great majority of stores carry primarily Arkansas and Brazilian Quartz probably because it's available, affordable, plentiful... in a word e-a-s-y! But who cares anyway? All Quartz is SiO˛ and is 6 sided and has the same latticework inside, no? Yes, true... and yet we're overlooking one little fact -- that of location, Location, LOCATION! Just as different parts of the world have different cultures with different dress, different foods, different animals, different plants, so, too are the rocks and minerals different. Not just in appearance, but most importantly, in function as well. Additionally, location is vitally important in crystals simply because location is vitally important in our lives -- past, present and future! Thus, for example, if you've always loved Tibet, or felt drawn to Tibetan culture or spirituality, or you chose Tibetan medicine for your health, or you'd experienced past lives or wanted to have future times in Tibet, or had loved Ones in or from Tibet... then for all these reasons, and many, many more, it world behoove you to own one or more Tibetan Quartz Crystals or other Tibetan minerals to strengthen those ties.
